What Happened
On the night of Friday, May 16, 2025, a powerful storm system swept across southeastern Kentucky. According to local law enforcement, a tornado touched down in Laurel County, tragically claiming the lives of too many community members and injuring several others. At the same time, Governor Andy Beshear confirmed that the statewide death toll from the severe weather has reached 14 at the time of writing, with search-and-rescue operations and emergency shelters working around the clock to support affected families Yahoo!AP News.

Free Mental Health Services Offered
In partnership with Kentucky Counseling Center and Counseling Now, we’re providing:
Individual Counseling: One-on-one sessions to process trauma, grief, and anxiety
Family & Couples Therapy: Support for families navigating the aftermath together
Child & Adolescent Therapy: Age-appropriate tools to help younger community members cope
All services are provided at no cost to survivors, first responders, volunteers, and anyone else affected by the May 16 storms.
