Maine requires 12 hours in family or intimate partner violence for Social Workers, MFTs, and Psychologists. For Psychologists, this is a one-time requirement since January 2020. For Social Workers and MFTs, check with your board for specific timing requirements.

Can I complete all my CE hours online in Maine?

It depends on your profession. MFTs can complete all 55 hours online. Addiction Counselors are limited to 20 hours of distance learning. Social Workers are limited to 10 hours of independent study. Counselors and Psychologists should verify specific online limits with their boards.
