What is the diagnosis and treatment requirement?

Most Kansas mental health professionals must complete 6 hours related to the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders. For Psychologists (after July 2025), this requirement is reduced to 3 hours.

What is the social work safety awareness requirement?

Kansas Social Workers must complete a one-time requirement of 6 hours in social work safety awareness training at initial licensure. This is not required for subsequent renewals.
