When do Indiana licenses expire?

All Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Board licenses expire on April 1st of even-numbered years.

What is the difference between Category I and Category II CE?

Category I includes structured learning such as online/home study programs (computer, audio, and video courses). Category II includes self-directed learning such as journal reading. Most professions require a minimum of 50% Category I hours.

Do new licensees have reduced CE requirements?

Yes. Counselors and Addiction Counselors licensed less than 24 months need only 20 hours with 1 hour of ethics. Those licensed less than 12 months are not required to complete any CE.

Is Therapy Trainings approved for Indiana psychologists?
